Spa is one of Formula One's favorite courses, with its mix of lengthy straights and tough fast corners allowing drivers to push their vehicles to their limits — assuming the weather is dry, that is. Because of the track's size and the nature of Belgian weather, it can rain in one spot and be dry in another, causing grip to fluctuate from one corner to the next. Keep a look out for the exhilarating Eau Rouge, possibly the world's most famous set of bends, as the cars swerve left, right, and then up the hill via Raidillon.
The high grandstand near Eau Rouge provides the finest perspective of the landmark intersection, as well as panoramic vistas stretching from La Source to Raidillon. The grandstand on the Pouhon corner, though, should be just up your alley if you want to soak up some of the greatest trackside ambience.
What's not to like about a legendary music from Europe? Only the best drivers can master Spa, with Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher among those who have done so. With the beautiful Ardennes forest as a backdrop, it's no surprise that it's a fan favorite, with a record-breaking 265,000 fans attending the 2017 Spa showdown.
