Wild Is Life Grand Zimbabwe is a wildlife sanctuary near Harare's International Airport that is home to a variety of native animal species. The sanctuary provides an incredible opportunity to get up up and personal with nature; excursions allow guests to see rescued animals in their natural habitats, as well as observe rescue staff feeding and cleaning a variety of species.

Thetford Game Reserve, located around 30 kilometres outside of Harare, is a huge 3,300 hectares of stunning countryside and mountain scenery. Visitors will find this exquisite corner of heaven, alive with wildlife and over 150 species of birds, yet being only a short distance from the vibrant city core.

The game reserve was established with the goal of providing a safe breeding environment for animals, and it today houses a wide range of animals, including buffalo, giraffes, impalas, zebras, and rhinos. You may go on a guided safari here, and you can also have some delicious food on-site.
